1/4 Cup sugar
1/4 Tsp. cinnamon

DIRECTIONS: Place apples in a greased 9-inch glass pie plate. Combine 1/4 Cup sugar and 1/4 Tsp. cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. Cover with foil and bake at 400 degrees 20 to 25 minutes. While baking, make the topping.

TOPPING:
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 Cup sugar
1 egg slightly beaten
1 Tsp. vanilla
1/2 Cup flour
1/2 Tsp. baking powder

DIRECTIONS: Cream the butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla and beat. Sift the flour and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture. Take the apples from the oven, remove the foil and add topping. Place in a 400 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. This can be served with ice cream or whipped cream.
