Should You Buy a Bread Machine?

Everyone loves the fresh, yeasty smell of bread baking in the oven. But, for many of us it seems like just too much work to bake a loaf of bread when so much measuring, mixing, kneading and WAITING is involved. Why bother with a bread machine, we may wonder, if we can just buy a good loaf at the store for a couple of dollars?

Baking your own bread at home is still a more economical way to provide bread for your family. Plus, because you're the one who chooses the ingredients that go into the bread, you can feel comforted knowing that the bread will be wholesome and natural. But, old-fashioned bread baking can be very time consuming and sometimes a little intimidating. Using a bread machine really takes all of the effort, energy and time out of the bread making process!

By stocking up on basic breadmaking ingredients like flour (and other additions such as seeds or whole grains) and yeast, you can whip up batches of delicious fresh, wholesome bread for a lot less than the supermarket bakery's offerings. With a bread machine, you basically measure all of the ingredients into the bread machine - and push a button! Bread machines really do make bread baking a one button effort. A few hours later, you have freshly baked bread and your kitchen will smell utterly delicious.

If your family eats a lot of bread, then considering a bread machine may save you a lot of money over time. And, making homemade bread in your new bread maker may become a favorite hobby of yours.
