I love recipes - in fact, I've been collecting recipes every since I was a kid. :) I collected them in boxes, in three-ring binders - anywhere that would hold all of them. Oh, and did I mention that I also LOOOOVE eating?
Everyday Food has become the only magazine I don't want to miss a single issue of. Apparently, I'm not alone. I was recently searching through Amazon to see if everyone else out there felt the same - and it had a perfect 5 star rating for the magazine. Plus, pretty much every auction on eBay for Everyday food issues were getting amazing bids.
Why do I suggest this magazine for recipe and food lovers? For these reasons:
Simplicity - The recipes are simple and elegant, but laid back enough for anyone to try.
Beauty - This magazine just LOOKs diffferent than other cooking mags. It's a handy size that's easy to chuck in your purse. The pictures inside make you just feel more FAMILIAR with the ingredients, as if you could reach out and touch them, even if you've never tried those particular ingredients before.
Practicality - Everyday Food features recipes that YOU and I can actually make. There are sections on foods that are good for freezing, and other practical ideas like that.
I can't fully explain it - but when I see a new issue of Everyday Food at the checkout at my local supermarket I'm EXCITED! (Pathetic as it may sound, it's really true...) When I get home I can't wait to sit down with the fresh issue to flip through and find some easy and delicious ideas to try. Watching the show on Food Network is also great -- as if the magazine came to life!
