NEWLY MOVED TO LONDON...WANTS OLD FAVORITE RECIPES
Lori writes:
"Love your newsletter!!!! :-)
My sister recently relocated to London with her kids (13 y/o boy & 11 y/o girl) and husband. I was hoping your readers could provide tips on how to make the transition a little easier on her and the kids. They report that the food is "weird" and "gamey". They are looking at their time over there as an adventure but, since they've all lost over 10 lbs each in just over 6 weeks, I thought I would see if I could do something to help her out. If there are any ex-patriot readers in her neck of the woods, I am certain she would appreciate knowing how they made the adjustment and maybe make friends, too. Thanks in advance for any help your readers can offer.

CLEANING A SHOWER STALL
Dianne in Illinois says:
"The easiest way I have found is to use Lysol’s Concentrate cleaner. It comes in a fairly small brown bottle. The smell is not very good, but it sure works well. It is alsa a great cleaner for anything in the bathroom. You can use it diluted or if needed use is straight from the bottle."
Brooke says:
"For Beth who needs help with a shower stall....sounds crazy but try using oven cleaner on it. Took all kinds of unidentified scum out of my shower. Spray generously and let stand for about 30 minutes then wipe down. Be careful though cause even with the fumeless cleaner, it can be a bit tough on the old lungs in a closed in space."

Mashed Potato Salad
~Submitted by Mary~
Mash potaoes as usual , but use mustard instead of butter( can add Helmans mayo if desired also, (sometime I use some of each).
Add finely chopped green onion tops, sweet pickle relish, diced boiled eggs, celery, etc.
Mix all togather and that is how I fix mine and I like it warm best, but it's great cold too.
I'm 67 and have fixed mine this way since I got married 47 yrs ago.
Try this and enjoy !!
