2 1/4 cups sugar
2/3 cup cocoa powder -- (wipe jar after this -- layer)
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1 1/4 cups flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking powder and
1 teaspoon salt

Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar. Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.

Attach this to the Jar Brownies Makes 2 dozen brownies

1. Empty jar of brownie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix. 2. Add: 3/4 cups (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, not diet, melted 4 eggs, slightly beaten 3. Mix until completely blended. 4. Spread batter in a sprayed 9x13-inch pan. 5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Cool completely in pan. Cut into 2-inch squares.

Butterscotch Brownies
Makes 2 dozen brownies

1. Empty jar of brownie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add: 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, not diet, very soft 2 eggs, slightly beaten 2 tsp. vanilla (opt.)
3. Mix until completely blended.
4. Spread batter into a sprayed 9x13 metal pan.
5. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 minutes. Cool 15 minutes in baking pan. Cut brownies into 1 1/2 inch squares.

Chewy Brownie Mix in a Jar

1 2/3 C granulated sugar
3/4 C baking cocoa
1 1/3 C all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 C chopped nuts or semi sweet choc chips

Layer ingredients in order listed above in 1-qt jar, pressing firmly after adding each ingredient. Note after putting in cocoa, wipe inside of jar with paper towel. Seal with lid and decorate with fabric and ribbon.

Recipe to Attach:

Pour brownie mix into large mixer bowl; stir. Add 3/4C (1 1\2 sticks)melted butter, 2 large eggs, 3 Tbsp water and 2 tsp vanilla extract; stir well. Spread into greased 13x9in. pan. Bake in 350 oven for 18-25min. or until toothpick comes out slightly sticky. Cool in pan. Makes 24 brownies.

1/2 + 1/8 cup flour
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup more flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
12 cup white sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 cup coconut

Have on hand a Quart sized canning jar. In the order the ingredients are given.....layer the jar with the ingredients! Put a cute lid on the jar and attach a piece of card stock that has the rest of the ingredients to add.

To Make Brownies

3 eggs
2/3 cups oil
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine the liquid ingredients and then mix contents in jar with the liquid ingredients! Bake in a 9x9 in. greased pan at 350 for 27-30 mins.
