Dip Mix Recipes

Chili Cheese and Bacon Dip

6 Tbs. chopped onion flakes
4 Tbs. dried bacon bits
2 Tbs. granulated garlic
4 Tbs. cheddar cheese powder
2 Tbs. chili powder
2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. sea salt

Mix ingredients in an airtight container. Makes several batches of dip.

A great dip mix for chips & veggies, combine two tablespoons of dip mix with 1/2 cup each of mayonnaise & sour cream. Cover & refrigerate 2 hours before serving. (Substitute low-fat plain yogurt or cottage cheese instead of sour cream for a healthier dip.)

For a tasty salad dressing, add cream or low-fat milk and stir until desired thickness. You can also use the dry dip mix as seasoning for vegetables as well as soups!

Dill Dip Mix

1 teaspoon dill weed
1 teaspoon season salt
1 teaspoon onion flakes
1 teaspoon parsley flakes

Combine all and place in a small airtight container.

To use: combine with 1 cup sour cream and 1 cup mayonnaise in a small bowl. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend. Serve with vegetables or potato chips.
