Weight Watchers Spaghetti Carbonara

"Mary-Lynne asked for a Weight Watcher's recipe for Spaghetti Carbonara, and I found this one in one of my Weight Watcher's recipe books. I hope it is the one she was looking for."

Makes 2 servings
2 tsp. margarine
1/2 cup diced onion
1 garlic clove, minced
4 oz. Canadian-style bacon, diced
1/2 cup skim milk
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked thin spaghetti (hot)
1 Tlbs. plus 1 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
In a 2-quart saucepan, heat margarine over medium heat
until bubbly and hot; add onion and garlic and sauté
until onion is translucent. Add bacon and cook, stirring
constantly. Continue stirring and cook over low heat
until mixture is thickened; stir in pepper. Add hot
spaghetti and toss to combine; sprinkle with Parmesan
cheese. Each serving provides: 3 Protein Exchanges;
1 1/2 Bread Exchanges; 1/2 Vegetable Exchange; 1 Fat
Exchange; 1/4 Milk Exchange; 20 calories Optional Exchange
Per Serving: 410 calories/ 25 g protein; 19 g fat; 33
g carbohydrate; 1, 286 mg sodium; 312 mg cholesterol.
