Paprika
Submitted by Debi

This advice is for the reader with water retention problems. I have always been told that paprika acts as a diuretic..tell her to try that.

Parsley
Submitted by Sarah

To the reader that asked about water retention, I developed preeclampsia with my last pregnancy and had terrible water retention, the one thing that really worked was parsley!

I mixed a handful of fresh parsley in a blender with apple juice(or any other juice) and drank 1-2 times daily. I also sprinkled my food with chopped, fresh parsley. It worked wonders!

Grape Juice
Submitted by Anne

Drink Concord Grape juice. This really helped me when I had swollen ankles when I was pregnant. Also, try to keep your feet above waist level as much as possible during the day.
